Schnucks Shopping 4/8/10

What I got:
10 boxes Barilla pasta
1 Digiorno for One pizza
1 bag Sunchips
1 Vitamin water
1 Quaker snack
5 Mentos
1 3-pack Fleischmann’s yeast
4 Pillsbury Crescent rolls
2 Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls
1 loaf Sara Lee bread
2 boxes Hungry Jack pancake mix
1 bottle Star Balsamic Vinegar
1.3lbs bananas
1 bag Fresh Express spinach
1 Prairie Farms cottage cheese
2 Planters Trail Mix
1 package Sundried Tomatoes

What I paid:
Before coupons = $50.04
After coupons = $14.03!
and I received a $4 catalina coupon for next time!

I’m still amazed at how much stockpiling and couponing saves my family!! I can’t believe I used to spend $60+ every week on groceries and now I spend less than $30. And most of the time, I only shop every other week!

See CouponStl for Schnucks coupon match-ups. And if you live in St. Louis, don’t forget that the Twin Oaks store matches Shop ‘n Save’s $10 off $50 Thursday if you bring in the ad coupon.

How much was the Barilla pasta and what coupons did you use? I never seem to find good deals on name brand pasta, so I just get the store brand.

It was on sale for $1/box and there were two 55cents off 1 (Piccolini or whole wheat) in the 3/7 SS. Luckily I bought multiple papers that week so I could stock up! I had been buying Wacky Mac for less than $1, and had almost used up all the Barilla spaghetti I bought during Kmart doubles last summer. This sale came just in time 🙂
