Tip of the Day 3/23/10

Have you ever wondered what all of those coupons abbreviations stand for?

Here are some commonly used coupon abbreviations, terms, and definitions:

BOGO = buy one, get one
B1G1 = buy one, get one
SS = Smart Source
RP = Red Plum
GM = General Mills
PG = Proctor & Gamble
Wags = Walgreens
catalina = coupon that prints at the register
RR = Register Reward (Walgreens)
ECB = Extra Care Bucks (CVS)
YMMV = your mileage may vary
wyb = when you buy
MIR = mail in rebate

Anything else you would like to add to the list? Leave a comment.

Thanks, Froogaloo!
